An opportunity to work with internationally acclaimed Dance Theatre artist!

Following the success of A Ship of Fools at the Brighton fringe, Yael Karavan and The Karavan Ensemble will be leading monthly workshops in Dance, Movement, Physical theatre, Site Specific based work and Music at Coachwerks.

The first in the series will be an introduction to Yael Karavan’s physical practice:

The beauty of the performer is his/her pleasure to perform.  Drawing on elements of  Dance, physical theatre, Butoh and mime, Yael Karavan explores some of the key issues for the performer,  and is offering a palette of tools and possibilities in the creative process exploring ‘presence’, metamorphoses, rhythm, intention, imagery and counterpoint as well as how to relate creatively to material, objects and space.

This workshop will be followed by A ship of Fools workshop if you are curious to discover your own  inner fools in July at Coachwerks.
